In the latter half of the Heian period, there were rumors that youkai would appear in Gion, Kyoto.
Pope Shirakawa attended to the second wife, Gion Nyogo in Gion.
Then, in the forest of Gion, he saw an eerie youkai almost every night.
The Shirakawa Pope became horrified and ordered his subordinate Tadamori Taira to investigate.
When Tadamori was ambushing, a creepy thing approached from the other side of the forest with the light.
Tadamori took courage to slash.
Then he was not a youkai, but a monk at Gion Shojya.
Pope Shirakawa, who was relieved to know the identity of the youkai, gave Tadamori the sister of Gion Nyogo.
Tadamori made the sister as his second wife.
Then Kiyomori Taira was born from the sister.
Kiyomori's father is also said to be Pope Shirakawa, and is said to be the secret of birth.
