In 940, Masakado Taira started to create a new country in response to the voices of Kanto people who were dissatisfied with being exploited by the Imperial Court in Kyoto. However, he fought against the Imperial army of Sadamori Taira and Hidesato Fujiwara, and was killed by a flow arrow hit. Satsukihime , the daughter of Masakado who was left, grudged, then visited Kibune Myojin in Kyoto, where she was given the witchcraft by Violence God, after 21 days’ pray. Renamed Princess Takiyasha, she descended to Kanto and rebelled against the Imperial Court at Soma Castle. The Imperial Court dispatches Mitsukuni Ohyake and Mitsunari Yamashiro, but Princess Takiyasha annoyed the Imperial Court Army by using the magical technique to make the great Gashadokuro as skull appear. Mitsukuni Ohyake and others finally defeated Princess Takiyasha by the technique of Onmyo magic. It is said that Princess Takiyasha went to his father calmly at the end. This is one of Kuniyoshi Utagawa’s masterpieces.
